G’Day, g’day, g’day. I’m Gez. Welcome to my site.
On any given day, you can catch me at either a local coffee shop, editing a gig at home in the studio, painting a art work whilst listening to rock music or tending to my veggie garden with Frankie the cavalier and my little boy Cash or. I love my downtime as much as I love my work.
I also love the simple life. Fires, cool nights under the stars, a great meat dish and a cheeky cocktail or 2.
I love creating. I love making things and I love to solve every day problems. This is me in a nutshell.
Life is sweet. Over the years my wife and I have dedicated hours of working at weddings over weekends to build our trusted businesses, but to also live a life where family comes first alongside health, and friends are just as important as our own personal time away from it all as a family.
I’m a people person - being 1 of 5 siblings and growing up in Sydney where TV wasn’t a thing, meant making entertainment and talking with people was an outlet.
I loved to surf, draw, paint and fiddle with electronics - enter cameras - mainly video back then thanks to my Nanna - and dreaming of one working on film sets.
I was ‘that mate’ who photographed and filmed everything when we went camping, surfing, away overseas or at local parties. I just loved to document life.
This led me down my design path, moving into Theatre and Film and obtaining a Bach of Design from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney (NIDA) which kickstarted my career in set and costume design. I worked on all sorts of visual collaborations and special one off events for ‘big’ companies.
Although this an epically a great creative time, it always led me back to photography - to where we are today.
I love my job. I love my clients. I love my local surroundings and I love this industry.
It’s kinda crazy that I made something I enjoyed do so much, my full time income.
Where do I see myself in 10 years from now?
To be honest, it’ll still be a creative career - with camera in hand no doubt.

Making the wedding process easy and enjoyable with this list;
I love to help all my couples make sure they get the best from their upcoming day, including a timeline run sheet and family shot list to make this part a breeze.
Utilising years of on-site wedding day experience at it’s best potential to make sure your days flows perfectly is just another string to my bow.
Here are some top tips to help plan your wedding day, and to not sweat the small stuff;
Follow wedding vendors your love on socials and read their real online reviews
Inspiration is great - but trends will change. Best to follow your heart and don’t look back.
Invest in this time of your lives - you only do it once! You’ll look back every time and smile knowing it was all worth it.
Ask vendors questions you need answers too, and take their advice. Every wedding is different from the next but we’ve seen it all, and hear to help.
Less is more. Quality of Quantity. Every…. single…..time.
Don’t DIY what you don’t have too. Once you arrive to the Hunter Valley, move into that relaxed mode and let your vendors do the heavy lifting.
Plan a party, not a ‘wedding’ - you won’t go wrong.
Don’t worry about the weather. I’ve shot some of my best photos in the rain! It’s all part of your day.
The best prep is taking on an engagement shoot together. Come the wedding day, you’ll have the basics nailed for maximised time with your photographer
Just GO FOR IT!

“A big thank you for going above and beyond our expectations - you captured our special day beautifully! You made it so easy to be in front of the camera and we will be recommending you to everyone we know”
