It starts with a friendly hello and a genuine smile.

G’Day all - I’m Gez.

A professional wedding photographer based here in the stunning Hunter Valley and Newcastle region of NSW, with a passion for capturing wild love stories in all their beautiful, candid glory.

Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, I ensure that every moment is captured in a way that’s true, fun and easy through my approach.

My bridal style? Think natural, always relaxed-landscape-featuring storytelling photography.

I believe the best images of you happen when you’re just being yourself, surrounded by the people you love.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring the beautiful bush tracks of Australia, sipping on a good cup of coffee or spending time with my beautiful little tribe, Tanya, Cash and Frankie. I love a good laugh, a good story and love meeting new and interesting people—which makes wedding photography pretty much a dream job.

I’m a big lover of fitness, rock music and fire pits on cold nights in winter - and love to chill, making the quieter parts of my days, often the most rewarding.

But enough about me—let’s talk about you and how I can help make your wedding day unforgettable.

I offer a range of customisable photography packages to suit every need and budget, whether you’re tying the knot in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, the beaches of the Central Coast, the backstreets of Newcastle or anywhere in between.

If you’re feeling a bit camera shy, don’t worry—I’ve got you and my 12 + years of full time wedding day love is a badge of honour. My creative approach is all about making you feel comfortable so your photos reflect true connection and feels from the day.

Want to see how it all works? Too Easy!

Tips to Plan your Wedding Day;

Make the wedding process easy and enjoyable with this list;

I love to help all my couples make sure they get the best from their upcoming day, including a timeline run sheet and family shot list to make this part a breeze.

Before we get to this, it’s a good idea to have a look below and note down a couple of the events you may not think about when starting to plan your day.

Utilising years of on-site wedding day experience at it’s best potential to make sure your days flows perfectly is just another string to my bow.

Here are some top tips to help plan your wedding day, and to not sweat the small stuff;

  • Follow wedding vendors your love on socials and read their real online reviews

  • Inspiration is great - but trends will change. Best to follow your heart and don’t look back.

  • Invest in this time of your lives - you only do it once! You’ll look back every time and smile knowing it was all worth it.

  • Ask vendors questions you need answers too, and take their advice. Every wedding is different from the next but we’ve seen it all, and hear to help.

  • Less is more. Quality of Quantity. Every…. single…..time.

  • Don’t DIY what you don’t have too. Once you arrive to the Hunter Valley, move into that relaxed mode and let your vendors do the heavy lifting.

  • Plan a party, not a ‘wedding’ - you won’t go wrong.

  • Don’t worry about the weather. I’ve shot some of my best photos in the rain! It’s all part of your day.

  • The best prep is taking on an engagement shoot together. Come the wedding day, you’ll have the basics nailed for maximised time with your photographer

  • Follow Gez’s lead and just GO FOR IT!

“A big thank you for going above and beyond our expectations - you captured our special day beautifully! You made it so easy to be in front of the camera and we will be recommending you to everyone we know”

  • Not a problem at all. It's super common to feel that as it's not something the majority of us do regularly.

    My best advice is to take this time on together, dive into my pre wedding shoot, and feel amazing as you laugh and smile at the photos you receive back.

    Just like your taste testing or dress fitting, it's a great trail preparing you for the big day.

  • Of course. I call the Hunter Valley home, but I've loved road trips all my career. If there is a party happening somewhere, then count me in.

    Travel outside of the Hunter Valley includes a fee, but don't let that deter you. You make it up in professional value by having me capture your day.

  • I don't. It's first in best dressed, but in saying that I offer all couples a chance to meet with me to talk more about what I can do for them once they inquire.

    If you want to book in, I give a grace period of 5 days to pay the booking fee, before making the date open to others.

  • Anytime of the year is great to get married, as the landscape in the Valley has something for everyone.

    Summer is pretty intense, so try and steer clear of Dec, Jan and Feb. Expect a lot of beers to be consumed!

    Winter gets chilly, but the reds go down perfectly.

  • I love to keep the energy high and deliver up to 10 sneak shots within 24-48 hours of your wedding day to share with guests and family who couldn't make the celebration.

    The full edit will be delivered between 5-8weeks (in peak times of the year) from your wedding day, as I'm a one man band and keep everything in house myself.

  • Not a problem at all. Wether its stylists to Celebrants, Planning to late night Partying.

    Working in the wedding industry for over 12 years and having my parter run her Hair and Make Up company for over 16 years, we know who's got the goods for any type of celebration.

    The Hunter Valley and Newcastle is full of amazing talent and couples who book in get access to great vendors who we think will nail those dream wedding goals of yours.
